MILLING

Better Foods Group comprises four milling facilities that are highly regarded in Portugal: Ceres, Germen and Carneiro Campos in the Big Porto area, and Granel, which is located further south, near Lisbon.

Committed to the quality of the products that it manufactures, Better Foods Group produces in these milling facilities a wide range of flours, from wheat, maize, rye, rice and spelt to gluten-free flours, so that no one is denied the pleasure of enjoying a crusty bread or a delicious cake at any time of day.

Logistics

In order to diversify its business and meet the logistics requirements for selling the group’s products on the international markets, Harinas Ceres was set up, a company that embodies the Group’s export and internationalisation potential. In addition to its industrial hubs in Galicia and Andalusia, Harinas Ceres also has three commercial warehouses, in A Coruña, Pontevedra and Seville.

Given the company size and its logistics requirements, the group decided to acquire Montepan – a company with warehouses in Tentúgal and Algarve – to ensure the transport and distribution of its products throughout Portugal.
